Few questions

I'm planning on making a GC Crusader, which I've never done before so..
- Does a Raydric Manteau reduce damage from Grand Cross?
- Does a Thara Shield reduce damage from Grand Cross?
- Does a Angeling Full Plate reduce damage from Grand Cross to 0?
- Do +atk cards increase damage of Grand Cross? e.g. Mystel Shoes or Andre Glad?

1.Not that I know of. Raydric reduces Neutral. GC is holy.
2.Its been debated. Should.
3. You still take the dmg required, but everything else is 0.
4. Yes. I use a Mystel sword and shoes are good.

This isn't clear to me? So I will still take full damage from Grand Cross?

No, nick- if you go and thoroughly read the skill description of grand cross, you are required to take a certain amount of damage. But if you have the proper reduction gears, you do not take the additional damage. Go use grand cross with the right redux gears, and watch your hp, and the numbers that fly above your head. You will take damage according to whats necessary, but not anything additional (Or if you only reduce x amount of the three holy hits on yourself, you still may take some extra self damage).

Ah ok, so Holy property armor will just decrease the additional damage taken. Do you know if Thara Shield reduces the additional damage also?

As John said, its very debated. I for one would say, yes indeed: it does reduce damage. Technically, since the damage is from a demi human, a thara/frog shield would reduce the damage- but if you want to get an answer (Be warned, it may take a bit for them to answer, or maybe not.) send in a support ticket on www.anthemro.com and just ask a gm ! Good luck with your sader and stuff ~

i think raydric does reduce elemental dmg too. I compared +9 non-carded muffler and +7 immune muffler. somehow elemental attacks were weaker on the immune but im not 100% sure. more tests please?

Maybe its a bonus from the raydric that isn't listed in the card description. Though, I've never heard of this... ._.

This may have been down to chance? because matk is based between, for instance, 200 ~ 300, so unless it's a substantial reducation, I don't think you can tell accurately.

Just posting some stuff i have noticed on my sader, dont know if it helps much.

Craniel Guard (thara frog) does reduce damage done to you from GC.

Between Raydric + Deviling Garment the difference you recieve from GC isnt much different if atall    (both these things i noticed were with holy armor on)

with holy armor on u would not be receiving any additional dmg at all. Hence its a fix dmg not affected by anything :]

deviling increases the addtional dmg u receive w/o angeling
try putting dark frame and deviling on at the same time xD
my friend does that when he wants to suicide x_X

Ahh, so Angeling negates any additional damage, so then I could equip race reduction shields rather than having to equip Thara Frog shield all the time?
