What does a Ghost armour do ?

What is the use of the Ghostring Armor ? Reply soon would be great

Helps vs asura, acid demo, and other neutral type attacks.

Oh yeah great for Lh3 Lord Knights to.

I just told you exactly what it does 

Enchanting armor with ghost property lowers neutral attacks on Player vs Player maps and War Of Emp. maps.

Hp regen wouldn't really matter on these maps so yeah for PvP & WoE the card is great. It doesnt work however outside of those maps (Vs Lord Knights In Lh3 is the only other place I saw this card work).

Two major player burst skills ( Asura strike and Acid Demonstration) are forced neutral so ghostring would reduce there damage by 75%.

the card only works in woe and pvp, it reduce the neutral property attack by 75%
exception are kasa and LK in lh 3, there might be some more ( i heard it works against earthquake from satan/ifirt too)

GR reduces damage from Critical hits ( like from dullahans ), Spiral pierce and Earthquake. However its not supposed to work in PvM because of how broken gravity thought it would be VS monsters.

Homunculus are like monsters, in that their physical attacks are non-elemental rather than Neutral element. Try using a Homunculus other than Vanilmirth in Einbroch Dungeon 1 (Filir recommended since it has Moonlight, a physical attack skill rather than just an attack) and beat up the Noxiouses, the red gas clouds there with it. They are Ghost 3 element, and they take 0% damage from Neutral attacks. Your Filir or whatever Homunculus you use will be hitting them for 100% damage. Why? Because the Homunculus attacks with no element, rather than a Neutral element.

The difference is that non-elemental attacks hit 100% on all elements, all across the board. No extra damage, but no reduction in damage either, regardless of element. Neutral element attacks, on the other hand, hit 100% on most elements, except for Ghost. Ghost 1 and 2 take 25% from Neutral attacks, and 3 and 4 take 0% from Neutral. Also remember that player armors only go up to element level 1. (This means Ghostring Card reduces Neutral property damage to 25%, since your armor will be Ghost 1 when you are wearing it.)

All players' regular melee attacks are considered Neutral element unless they are using an elemental weapon (and/or elemental arrows/ammunition for ranged attacks), or have a buff on them that causes their weapon to be endowed with an elemental property (Sage endow skills, Aspersio, Elemental Converters, Cursed Water, Box of Storms, Enchant Poison, Mild Wind.) This might be what leads some people to believe that "Ghostring only works in PvP." Players meleeing without any elemental endows, weapons, or skills, do 25% damage on GR users. Also, most Alchemists and Biochemists use Vanilmirths in PvP, which uses magical elemental attacks like Caprice (5 bolts of a random element out of Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind) and they don't use them to hit much with physical attacks in PvP except to chase players, so players usually don't notice that they are taking 100% from their physical attacks too, even with Ghostring on.

However, "Ghostring only works in PvP" -- this is false. Players differ from monsters and homunculi because monsters and homunculi use non-elemental regular melee attacks. Monsters further differ from homunculi because monster skills are NEVER non-elemental (always Neutral or otherwise, so you can reduce the Neutral skills with GR, including Critical Attack as well, that's considered a skill when used by monsters!) But the Filir's Moonlight skill, which is actually a physical attack skill, is considered non-elemental and hits Ghosts for 100% damage, too.

You don't become ghost in PvE but gravity did give it some certain PvM uses like reducing earthquakes damage.
