Not exactly, ou know how people think that doing certain completely unnecessary and needless things, or have some objects that they think brings them luck. For example let's say you have a big test tomorrow, and you don't take a shower the day before, then the test goes really well, some people may start to think that the test went well because you didn't take a shower. This is further augmented if the event repeats once or twice, for example if you suddenly have a pop quiz and you didn't take a shower the day before for some reason, then the pop quiz goes well. The experience that not taking a shower has affect on your results is increased.
While in reality few coincidences like that don't mean anything. But people still believe in those and thus they wear their lucky pants or lucky jacket when going on a date, or they cross their fingers while anticipating something, or they put 99 LUK when going to upgrade armors and so on. That's a post hoc fallacy, tons of people have them.
