About lag. Pos lag..

hi.. i am experiencing lag these days.. in the past few months i am not experiencing this lag only this weeks...
i cant niff,, when i am in niff i lag when i got other people in my screen if they have mobs or just walking.. (imagine how hard is that)
my lag is like pos lag which is in my screen i stop but then when i press pot or put into attack it still does the command, but when it resumes its like fast forwarded its really hard.. my computer is new my computer is updated sakray and windows updated as wel..

also in pvp/woe i also lag same... i have been playing long time but this is only this few days i experience this trouble..
i ask if what should i do with this in order to get rid of this lag? pls help me...

btw i also pos lag when i enter portals it takes like 10 secs before i resume.. but it is just sometimes..

Could be a connection problem. Slow internet maybe

I really dont lag unless it's coming from my side. The server is pretty much fine.

its now bad, mine is 1.72/0.25 (used to be barely 1 mb)
its all about the ping if its too high then he'd lag a lot

try doing a ping to the server

I've said this many times, in many threads.

Your ISP, might route the connection to Anthem strangely, which is a big cause for lag. For example, someone who is trying to send something to someone from Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA. Instead of the connection going upwards straight towards Seattle, sometimes what will happen is that it'll take detours to like, Texas, or something like that, prior to landing in Seattle, WA. Which because it takes time to get to TX first and any other state prior to reaching Seattle, WA, which is why both people will experience lag time in between receiving information. Which usually explains why a lot of people with the same ISP will have issues with connecting to a certain place and/or lag, while other people with different ISP's don't etc.

0.70+ mbps isn't bad its good speed but not the best. You might want to get a 1mbps for better connection.

There is a specific type of fix that mostly helps position lag, which is posted in the announcement about How to Fight & Defeat Lag. Kill lag is what it is called I believe. You should check it out.. in general, you should do all of the things outlined in that post for better performance.

Yeah, the numbers you guys are showing are pretty low.

My crappy school connection:  0.46Mbs/0.47Mbs/110ms
I've tried playing here before, it's the worst lag ever.

My home connection the download is around 5 I think (long time since I did it last) and even there I have lag sometimes.
