sry its me again i got one more questions... it works till pathing after a while pathing and error comes up and then the program closes. the errow where there is a botton it asks if u want to send the error

so far i have been having problems getting anthemro to work

after i downloaded god of ragnarok then uninstalled it  anthemro suddenly stopped working X3

i tried downloading the same way i did the first time, but this error came up:

Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem

i wonder if i am only to download the unmetered download, since i first installed the SAK from the forums and the mini setup with dyefire then downloading the mini setup from the anthemro website...  i don't think the download links need to be checked or fixed though 

so far i'll try the unmetered download and hope it works

so far i don't need a graphic driver update since it worked fine

edit: when i saw the top space in the setup, it had the same letter and number in it    but it was empty... so was the size for full screen

i'll post back if the problem continues   (im sticking with anthemro from now on /desp)

Do this:

IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL:

Move these files (sdata, sakray, sakexe, and spatch), and your BGM folder (if you have one) to a new folder, and install my MiniSetup (found [Here] or [Here] or [Here]) to that new folder.

After you've installed it, Patch Sakray, (see below section) and then start dyefire. This should patch Anthem, then you can play the game.

If the Start button doesn't work, delete the AnthemPatch file and replace it with this:

If there's still nothing there, update your video card driver.

so far my hunch was right, i need to put on from the arrow drop down list that d3d option

plus playing anthemRO at 800x600 i think it was... is ODD @_@

not sure how nothing was in the space in the first place but thx lord i noticed it /sigh

Ok, I have a weird problem now.
I used the full installer and everything looked like it installed correctly so I tried to just run Anthem without Dyefire and I would reach all the way up to connecting to the server and trying to login, but it keeps saying Failed to connect to server.
I updated Sakray with the v2.2 mini-installer and still to no avail. Is there something else I am missing or do I just need to start from square one all over again and maybe just try it your way (downloading sakray first, using your mini-installer.. etc).

Yeah, use dyefire. You can choose not to see dyes after the game loads.

Unfortunately, Dyefire had the same symptom of 'Failed to connect to server'.
BTW, before this I had previous had the old animaRO installed with all the updated patches and downloaded patches installed and everything was working fine. I wanted to remove the xmas patches and I read from the other thread that deleting the data folder would get rid of them. When I deleted the data folder is when I started having this problem (even after uninstalling RO and reinstalling).

Sigh, it still didn't work. I moved those files to some trivial directory like \Gravity\test and it still has the connection error.
I then proceeded to again remove/delete everything and start all over. I downloaded Sakray, installed the Mini setup, patched Sakray and then ran Dyefire and am still getting 'Failed to connect to server' (I installed into \Gravity\aRO). I seem to be having some kind of connection issue.

Sorry, when I refer to the minisetup, it is your minisetup that I have been using. I did move the files and use your minisetup and it didn't work. I'm pretty sure everything you're telling would work, but I seem to have a different problem. I've sent a support ticket to the GMs to see if they can help me work it out also.

Does it instantly give you the "Failed to connect to server" message or does is take a while to display it?

If it takes a while it's just normal lag that shoudl be fixed by restarting your computer =/
If it's instant it's an installation/directory problem.

Take a screenshot of the RO folder you're using, in List View please.
