Forum question for Mods/GMs
« on: April 29, 2009, 06:55:17 pm »
If I let my wife into my forum account with the sole purpuse of enabling her to modify our forum selling thread:

A) Would it break any forum rule?

B) Would it affect our voting cooldowns? (Even if we still only kept on voting with each others account of course.)

Thanks.

I'd wager the 'if you have to ask, it probably isn't a good idea' kind of thing would apply here :p

-If she did something (intentionally or not) to get you banned, you would be banned even though it was her fault.
-Even if she didn't intend to break the rules, it could look suspicious her using both accounts if you both vote (if you don't vote it wouldn't matter so much, but if you do they're always worried about vote fraud and that would look somewhat suspicious I think ::))

I don't think it's a good idea, but if you don't think these things apply then go ahead.  I don't think there's an explicit rule against sharing a forum account, just that those possibilities exist.

I will probably stop playing and not caring about RO anymore when I stop talking to her anyways so;

A) As long as there are no money transactions from her to your forum account or vice versa, or she votes on your forum account on her IP, or something like this, it won't look suspicious to us. So go ahead, however, be careful, I don't recommend sharing your forum information with anyone, it's up to you. <_<

B) It won't affect the cooldown, I just checked.

By money transactions you mean only real cash and not ADs right? Cause I send her my ad credits all the time @_@. And Im aware theres 100% full responsability from this on me.

Thanks Fidelis.

I mean ad credits. Let's say (just an example!) you log into her forum account, transfer some ads to your account, then log out, and log back into your account, and so on, that's a no-go. But if you simply send her ad credits on your IP, and she uses them on her IP, that's alright.
