Ad-Credit Voting Question

Is it illegal to vote for AD-Credit at my house then go to a friends house and set up another

account there and vote there then send the ads to my account at my house? Not sure if this is illegal

since I'm not making multiple forum accounts?

The problem is you're using the same account or computer, they are seperate IPs but your cooldown won't reset (and if you try to bypass that you will be banned) but if you had your 'friend' make a separate forum account and fwd you ads here and there that's considered okay (though a bit cheesy). You have to make absolutely certain your ips never come in contact with one another (like it bring your laptop to your friends house, or log into the forums under that account) Otherwise you could be banned. I am not condoning you do this because you could mess up and be completely banned from it if you messed up.

Hmm i often bring my laptop to my boyfriends house who also plays RO and votes for ads too. But if he's voted earlier that day and i then try by using my laptop and my account info it says that i'm on cooldown too. So i dont really think he'd have a problem even if he uses his laptop at his friends house

So its legal to have your own forum account at your house and vote there and

make another at a friend's house and send back Ad-Credit to your home account

as long as I never login my home account at my friends account or vice versa

And as long as I'm not bypassing cool down also?
