I just downloaded the patch and I'm a total newbie. I've restarted my computer, but then whenever I press the icon, it loads for a bit, and I dont even get to press the "Start" button before the message comes up.
 How can I fix this?
 Will I have to reinstall the game? I can do that but then Id prefer a solution that i can use without having to reinstall.

May end up being your Download got corrupted. 

Control panel> Add or remove programs> Uninstall anthemRO

then reinstall, see if that helps.
