??? ??? ??? Where should I level my merchant?
I had my merchan for 1 and a half months and its only level 43/32.
I've been training on metalings, it appears that thy could mammonite...... I mean like it does 400-850 DMG on me.
And I've tred orc dungeon but the leveling it so slow there and the mob is crazy.
I've tried every tip players has given me. But nothing....  =(  :(

fireblend + mi gaos is pretty good - mi gaos are the .. dirt.. things south of louyang - and they're weak to fire. Hence the fireblend

Err... leaf cats?

Merchant is not a very easy class to train without gears, although I'm sure you could at least get to job level 40 and change job without much gears, just a lot of meats and GJ (fill your cart with empty bottles, which are heavy and cheap from NPCs, and spam cart revolution).

It's helpful to have a merchant for vending and stuff, but beyond that it probably won't be much use to you until you get the gears  :-X

grasshoppers aren't that hard to kill.. easier than a mi gao actually. Try just killing the ones you come across so you dont end up mobbing them?
get a good bunch of FWings with you as well, so you can easily tele away if you think you've taken on more than you can.

Leaf cats imo were actually harder than mi gaos and not as rewarding, because of the monkeys and they take forever to kill. Hm.. if you had decent gears I'd say high orcs.. see if you can get a soul linker and a WS to come along with you and buff you, then you might be able to take on a few HOs? 8D
there's a free tank/leech service somewhere in the market on the forums, see if its still up : )

if you do leaf cats, go inside the dungeon rather than stay outside where the monkeys are. The zombies inside aren't that tough, and you can just fwing away from the occasional whisper.

Poison spores at geffen dungeon lvl 1 is where I level my merchant till BS. Spam cart revo for there are plenty of mobs there. They spawn fast and are easy to kill without consuming too much meats/gj.  ;)

Yeah, but it's much easier to mob poison spores than metallings, since they are aggressive and there are more of them on a map (I think?)

It's a common Ifrit drop according to rms, so I'm sure someone will vend one for fairly cheap.

Also the mushroom spores you get from poison spores you can sell to bios for 1k each, of course if you stay at metalings till you get a card, you could make sooooo much more torwards getting niff gears, you could probably trade a metaling card for a pair of eddgas

I used dual acc to get my merch to job 50...used a mage/wizard to level in prison and the merch was just leeching at the entrance and selling stuff...thats going pretty fast actually as long as there are enough people in prison so your merch doesn't die all the time...

that's actually a pretty good idea, worked well for me too at one point.

and this is where you can get free tanks or leeches btw; http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,57324.0.html
