I saw Big Ribbons being sold for 599k somewhere and a Kafra band for 150k just once.

Eh, I personally don't buy Big Ribbons for more than 100k or so. They're used to make Red Ribbon/Back Ribbon, which I always sell at 600k. And naturally, it makes no sense to buy a 600k item to make a 600k headgear.

Tip: Instead of getting ripped off by buying a Silk Ribbon off someone, go to Payon's Armor Dealer and buy a Ribbon

• . Then go to Aldebaran. There'll be a building that the Doctor Band/Sakkat/etc NPC will be in. There's also a NPC named Pet Item Maker in that building. Order Silk Ribbon. Done.
