I know it's a bitch thing to do, but is it an illegal thing to do?

I know mvps are FFA, but I believe there are some rules involving Ice wall, like not IWing people IN with monsters, or trapping them beneath tons of IWs.

My question is, if someone shows up (Oh say a 99 IC high wiz) and starts using my IW instead of casting their own, can I fireball or sighttrash to destroy my IW so they cannot use them any further? I've run into this twice now in a week of doing mvp's on my wiz, and I just want to know if this a course I can take if they keep it up.

2. Player Relations:

    * Respect all players. No harassment or discrimination is allowed. (Exception: PVP is not moderated unless it is serious and spills over into other situations.)
    * Do not attack or loot other players' monsters without their permission. This includes the use of the "Greed" skill.
          o A monster "belongs" to another player if it is attacking, being attacked by, trapped by, or following that player.
          o When casting area attacks, make sure not to hit other players' monsters.
          o Monsters that give the MVP sign when killed are exempt from this rule.
          o The maps pay_dun00, gl_prison, orcsdun01 and anthell01 are exempt from this rule. (Exception: You may not keep following another player around killing/looting their monsters without their permission.)
          o Intentional over-excessive buffing of monsters with intention to MPK (monster player kill) is not allowed on any maps. This also pertains to MVP type monsters.
    * Do not frame/bait players into getting them punished. This applies especially (but not limited to) to greed/KS/and harassment cases.
    * Do not warp players using Warp Portal without their permission. Exception: You may do this in PVP, but not to an EXP loss map or an unpathable tile.
    * Do not use Azoth or Hylozoist Card in any town, any of the KS-allowed maps or on the first level of any dungeon. Violators may have their Azoth/Hylozoist Card confiscated.
    * Do not trap others players with skills, such as Ice Wall, unless you are competing for an MVP or miniboss.
    * Please be aware that if you /memo unpathable tiles, you are doing so at your own risk.  Should the use of your warp come into question, your warps will be wiped.
    * Purposefully gathering normal monsters and leading them to another player with the intention of killing them is not allowed, however using Dead Branches and forcing MVPs to spawn minions, anywhere other than KS-allowed maps is allowed. (Note: DBs/BBs are disabled in certain key towns. Where they are not, it is legal.)
    * Do not chase someone through different PVP rooms killing them repeatedly without their permission.
    * Do not scam people of their items, accounts, zeny or ad credit.
    * When vending, do not put false advertisements in the shop title with the intention of deceiving buyers.

So in short, if you lose EXP or have a chance of losing EXP due to some other player then it's not allowed.

Errr... it says that buffing monsters with intent to blah blah is against the rules. Destroying your own IW's is not buffing a monster... I don't see how that bolded quote is applicable to the question in this topic.

The closest rule in that list to what the OP is asking is:

    * Do not trap others players with skills, such as Ice Wall, unless you are competing for an MVP or miniboss.

Except that the above only applies to trapping with, not destroying, Ice Walls.

As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no rule against this.

Okay, good. I'm going to do this the next time it happens and hope I don't get a mute, and if I do I'll take the mute. ._.; Its petty, but shiny IC wizzie can cast his own damn IceWalls before he goes and steals the mvp away.

Watch out though - Luring Non-MvP monsters to the player is illegal.
I've reported a few idiots who think that Luring Ancient mummies is the same as luring Amon to kill me.
