"Instantaneous Death" Weapons

I was just wondering if "Instantaneous Death" Weapons (such as : Edge and Sabbath) actually bring instant death
I'm confused since i'm not sure whether theyre just random description or true =/
Ehh, can i have a GM to answer this plz? xD
(I just think they know more about this stuff, and i dun wanna take a risk and waste my money )

iirc they do work but it's a very very low chance so you're better off getting a wep that's useful to you.

Edge and Guillotine do cause the coma effect, which drops you to 1 hp.

I tried edge in PvP and it gives that effect with the grim reaper over your head where you turn read, walk slow, and do less dmg

thats curse status. It does 2 effects coma and curse.

well..if people are saying its a very low chance, it might be better just to atk with regular dmg than to rely on it..although if it was just an unaffected chance, i'd use it on high hp people

The chance isn't worth it. Not in higher play, because by the time one would instantly die, or get coma'd from the damage output decrease you probably would've lost.

They're "for fun" weapons to me

well even on Frenzy'd lk's you could just use a TTS/h (since they have no def) and hit like you were fighting porings

especially when u are talking about pvp and pally will alwaz say pally>LK
