Critical SinX
« on: July 12, 2008, 03:40:25 am »
I dont know how many times I've asked this... but I still dont have it clear on my mind.
I want to know what's the best crit sinX build without sqi and celeb rings and such.
I want a fast kill and high flee... you know, the perfect crit sin. Thanks yet again in advance for all the info and your help. :D
Spoiler for Rockn'Rolla:

"People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drums, drugs, and hospital drips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, other the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the fucking lot"

Ridley, yes DDMM = win. But if you plan all out agi, and don't mind being a little slow, sometimes. DMMM could be what you want.

Stormy Knight mid: 20 flee, Stormy Knight Valk: 40 flee, Mystelltain: 20 flee, Whisper: 20 flee. There's a few flee gears.

If you don't mind you could get a +9 undershirt with panties put a nine tails card in it and have: 37 flee from that. Crits? If all the flee gear is a bit much, Try the morrigane and full Sin/X card combo. Get kobold rings or crit rings.

I had tought, morrigane's set, stormy ewe, I already have mystel shoes, two thief clothes, one with argiope for fun, and one with garm card (50% freeze). But then I remembered that the morrigane set includes a garment, and I had planed on having a nine tail garment.
think that with the morigane's set id have a lot of skil points left since it increases crit and strg, so Id have agi 99+~~.

What do the experts say?

Morriganes set is awesome for beginners and you should get a DDAA or DDAM Spec jur, even with full agi and Moonlight hat a single Doppelganger card dosnt give you 186 aspd, I've been told but its still good.
Stormy ewe and Mystel shoes are good too.
Now I'd get Kobold somethings, best is brooch or Rings but these accessorys are very expensiv, more expensiv than the Kobold card.

After that I'd try to get some gears to make money with, like a Doppelganger Bapho Mace/Chain for niff blacksmith.

Edit:
And i wanted to say, 187 and 190 aspd is a huge difference, just check it out, you'll like your jur with 2 doppels more

however, its reduced by opponent's luk/5...so if you go face to face with another high luk user(ex: artemis sniper...) then your crit will be a lot less.

so you cant hit 100%of the time..but 55crit should be more than enough for katars

max crit is 48...
Thank you for pointing that out.

Note: Most find 45 and even 40 crit to be enough.

Katars double your crit so 55 crit is hella redundant. Max critical chance is 95% so at 48 you reach that. So I think even against high luck users, as a katar sin I have gone against other crit classes and it seems the same-- This is because most people try to avoid actual luck. Most critical classes go for gears like Alligators who give you a free 12 crit, no luck needed. People try to avoid the luck stat it's frowned upon and seen as one of the, if not the, most useless stat outside of forging/creation purposes :p

I do suppose though, an Artemis sniper use say something like a Gryphon Valk is one of those high tier luck users. But even then, they benefit way too much from 2x gryphons to really even need/use luck.
