Starting game problem.

Alright, so When I double click on the RO Icon on my Desktop It goes to the patch, Says its finished I click start, then it says,'Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem'...Does anyone know how to help me?
If so Thanks a lot.
P.S.
I just joined today because my friend told me to, so don't expect me to know everything.
