server down?

i  been getting nad lag today more so then yesterday and just now i got a horrible lag spike that made me freez up and i am still running around where i am at.
i take a few steps every few cells and then it freezes up,i have yet to get dc'd and i can't quit game cuz it wont let me.
so i was just wondering if it hitting anyone else?
