Alchemist guides?

Where do you find them? Or how do you get them?

It'd be nice if someone could take the time to point me in the direction of a site which'll explain everything about the Alchemist class.

If you mean the potion creation guides, all of them except one is available at prontera in the special weapons dealer. If you go up to the central circle by the fountain go in the building located at the north east of this circle, in there there should be someone called a 2-2 dealer or something like that. He'll sell you all the main books for about 76k with level 10 discount.
