Elemental/Status Armour, what & why they should go together

     I'm new to this whole "status cards compounded into elemental armour" deal. And so, I would just like to know you can, please, tell me what/why certain cards goes best into each of the elemental armour.

Earth armour + [status card] ?
Water armour + [status card] ?
Fire armour + [status cards] ?
Wind armour + [status] ?

     The last time I checked, Wind Marcs armours were about the only thing I saw commonly sold, what's with the Wind Marc combo?

There are two elemental armors, which are common, Orclord water armor and Marc wind armor.

Orclord water armor is good against water property with reflection status, mainly used against champ( skill asura).

Marc wind armro is good against wind property and helps against water property as well, marc card for stay unfreeze, usually good for strom gust, and helps alot in woe too.

If wiz SG you .. damage gets lowered by 50% because of the Wind Element and you won't freeze.
If wiz JT you .. damage gets lowered by 75% because of the Wind Element.

With decent MDEF, you can stop caring about SG and JT, because you won't freeze nor take much damage at all from these skills.

Hint for the wise here, Earth Armor is useless, since it doesn't reduce earth damage.

Earth armour is good for PVM since it does reduce level 2, 3 and 4 earth attacks. I'd put dark frame in it for PVM.

I think Fire armor is good with Dark Frame for Lh3.

     I also saw Earth armour+Tao, is there any particular reason for this combo? From what I can think of, mm .. it helps protect from DD Djin melee damage? Yes? No?

why 20%marc? i thought marc was only 5% reduction from water?



anyways, Im pretty sure Earth1 armor takes 100%dmg from Earth1 property weapon...only exception is hode(since its a "resistance")

Earth armour doesnt block earth damage in PVP but it can reduce fire damage by half and its great in PVM.
