About lvl 99

if you are partied with someone who is lvl 99 and you are lvl 89 does all the exp go to the lvl 89 person or is it still split in half and the lvl 99's share is lost?

The person that is level 99 will still get (x) amout of experience if you're on Even Share.

do you mean zero or do you mean the number they would normally get?

Yes, the lvl 99's share is pretty much lost. Unless he/she has guild tax then it'll go there.
