What makes you cast faster

Wizards, Priests etc.. can only real IC with 150 dex in no combination with % reduction gears, just the +DEX gears and 99 dex.

Q: How do I get IC (Instant Cast)?
A: You need 150 dex altogether so you may need:

    * 99 Base dex
    * Job Bonus Dex (+6)
    * Kahos Horns (+20)
    * Rocker Armour (+1)
    * [Drops][Drops][Drops][Drops] Rod (+4)
    * Moonlight Shoes (+5) or Gargoyle Shoes (+5)
    * 2 Stings Gloves OR 2 Celebration Rings (+10)
    * Stem worm garment (+5)


Priests also have the blessing skill which adds +10 dex. Each class will have different DEX bonuses (which also depend on your current job level) so the equipment required may vary from class to class. However, 150 DEX is always required for skills to be Instant Cast.

Only Paladins and Crusaders can get IC Using cast reduction gears (100% or more is needed).

ASPD (means: AGI and some DEX) reduces this after cast delay, I think.

Phen = More cast time
Bloody  Butterfly = More delay

Delay is that time after you cast that you can't use another skill.

and i have a phen and i could swear it was cast increasing and not delay @.@

Both of them increase cast time, none of them increase delay.

maybe some patch modified the description but still both are +30% cast time?

Phen increases your cast time by 25%
Bloody Butterfly increases your cast time by 30%

It must be a typo, I'm sure none of them touches your after-cast delay.

Phen definitely isn't cast delay, but it sure slows down your cast.
The advantage of bloody butterfly is - AFAIK - that if you get the whole combo, your casting time is increased less than with the Phen card (10-15% versus the 20%)

I use both of these cards, so I know they DEFINITELY increase cast time.

I just used ratemyserver to back it up.
