Bards/Dancer's are never effected by their own skills, unless Linked with a Bard/Dancer Soul.
However if they're partying with someone else, and that person is in the Rich man AoE range, as well as the monster they're killing,
The bard/Dancer will indirectly benifit from the skill; Thanks to the EXP share.
I believe that as a MUST, the monster must also be in the skill, for it to work.
Or at least that's what I've heard.
The only way I can think of to really get this skill to work awesomely; Would be in MvP'ing, or Nif leveling (Stationary, not moving around) with a priest.
With MvP'ing, IF it affects MvP EXP - Then both the bard and Dancer could hit the MVP (More people hitting it =More Exp)
Then do the Rich man skill, while Whatever MvP'er class kills it. I Suppose the bard & Dancer could flee tank the mob too this way.
With Nif leveling; You might want to set it up around the middle Of the map - where all the immobiles are, and have your Priest ME while inside it.
That should help a fair bit. In those cases, it might not be a bad skill to use.
