Ok, is there anyway to fix lagging out/ time gap DC from IW? i have a very good computer(7800gt, amd 4400+x2, 2gb ram, 10k rpm hdd, etc) and a good internet line.

the issue shouldnt be on my side, is this just server side?

Don't touch the Ice Wall. Don't attempt to move through the Ice Wall. Don't attack the Ice Wall. Otherwise, no.

I dont get it though, whats the cause of the lag outs with IW? I know for sure I have no issues on my side. Many people seem to not lag out as well, so I want to know what my problem might be.

I do get lagged out. If not - its so worse that I have to ALT F4. Especially in towns like Prontera. Already the vast number of players generate latency and then there is some wise guy who comes and spams Ice Walls or AOES.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the scripted action of the Ice Wall effect or something. Kind of how like a fully Ice Wall'd monster becomes immune to AoE spells or something. But this is purely speculation on my part.

Technically it depends how someone is casting IW. I can confirm that there are ways to cast IW that *will* affect you, no matter how fast your computer or connection is. The whole game just gets extremely delayed (20-30+ seconds) and then you disconnect.

It affects the icewaller too, though the person getting IWed seems to get affected more.
