Question about Steal Skill

so i've heard that having lower levels of steal skill will enable you to get lower chanced items. if that makes any sense.

anyone care to elaborate?

Not that I know of, It just has a lower chance of stealing an item. I believe you can steal anything a monster has to offer except the last two items it can drop. (usually including it's card)

depending on dex for me (i usually have 30 when i go farming wit steal skill) having no dex makes you get the suckiest items having 30 is good and having 50 dex is just 50/50 of w/e 30 dex usually works for me

You can never steal cards, and you can never steal the items that are in the 'empty' slots (which can drop however, as apples).  Often the items with the highest drop rates are the ones you're gonna steal most of the time.

I wanted an elaboration on that too, to me it makes no sense. Because if you knew the formula it could easily be abused, if it was indeed true.

i stole a coat[1] from fur seals b4.. near the comodo beach place.. so i think all items can be obtained by steal..

not all im very sure that cards cant be stolen. If the Steal Calculations(The one written in the skill window) are being used then yes u can modify ur stats and steal skill lvl so u can steal the other items that the monster offers.(Im not saying that u can change ur stats so u can steal a specific item >.> Though no one has confirmed yet if that steal formula is used.

I was there with my Stalker steal lvl 10 and 99 dex

Yeah cards can't be stolen q.q
