a question about taekwon mission

ok taekwon boys/girls get taekwon mission after lvl 5 fight chant, and a gm told me that casting it stops my xp....is this true?  granted when they told me this i didn't even have the skill yet...thanks for your time ^^

xp, u mean experience?

yeah both base and job experience

i dont think so. i myself have a taekwon n when i use the skill, i got exp when im killing. read the skill description again to be sure

No, I think you've misunderstood. Using taekwon mission doesn't effect your experience (base and job) in any way.

However, once you've killed your target monster 100 times you gain 1 Taekwon point (which you might have thought meant exp). Type /taekwon once in-game to see the top-ranking taekwons.

i didn't think it did either cause every other time i used it i still got experience but the gm said taekwon mission could stop it....i guess that really was a bug then cause i stayed at 73.8% base and 2.1% job as a taekwon boy for 5 poporings and 5 poporings should give a lvl 20/15 at least .2%.  no i was only base level 20 i was watching my exp% and it wasnt going up at all and the gm told me that taekwon mission could have done it even though at that time i didnt even have the skill

and yeah i know 100 monsters of taekwon's mission choosing = taekwon point that's why i thought it might have been a bug of some kind

how many points do u actually need lol? my first mission was leaf cats, and sitting up all day and night i finished it (i was only lvl 50 wht d;ya expect) but then the next one was a Deleter!! seein the stats n skills of deleters on roempire knocked me out cold T_T how much do i have to suffer to b a ranker?

1] you get XP while doing the missions , if you get a weak monster at high level - its obvious you wont see you exp Ticker

2] You can spam Taekwon mission as long you havent started the assigned monster to change the monster. The chance of change is 1%

3] If you kill 100 monsters of the assigned type - You get 1 Point. If you get enough points to get ranked you HP/sP triples and you can access all skills of the Taekwon. You also can spam combos of kicks one after another infinitely. However 2 successive kicks should be different . If you spam 2 kicks of the same kind the chain breaks. Most people use counter and axe kick.

4] If you change job to SL or Star Gladiator - You lose all bonuses given by being a taekwon Ranker and can no further accrue more points.

I wanted to be the servers only guy with ranks in all the 3 systems - Smiths,Chemist and Taekwons. I realised it was a waste of time to do it.

however, good point, but the exp. is seriously affected, while ma taekwon mission was leafcats, myst cases gave me DOUBLE the JOB xp that the leafies did...n when i killed leafs again (after several lvls) they gave waaay more xp
