Why does no one play in Lh3 anymore?

I've just come back to playing this map after a bit of a break and no one's there.

This is giving me problems cos There's nowhere to actually stand and heal. Is there somewhere better for Job exp these days?

Monsters seem as difficult as they were before there's just sooo many not sure how attributable this is to the lack of players of if the spawn rates been ubered. I just found a spot where there was just one monster killed it and 2 more spawned before I got my SP back up. Grr!

So yeah... input?

Ok so got some serious lag spikes so I thought I'd look into this a bit more.

Sorry about posting things that have been posted before but LH3 info is hard to find amoung the buying and selling of leech threads.

I see they've started spawning randomly as opposed to in zones. I see the spawn rate is the same and wont change. I don't see any comment on whether the zoning can be re-implimented?

I used to love this map for leeching alts but without the ability to clear out an area I can't even get a char to somewhere to leech it. Even with frilldora hiding the char it still doesn't survive for long and getting to it to res it when it is killed is nigh on impossible.

Basically starting to think I should have posted in ranters there's so much I don't like about it.

(Although I've no issue with the MVP's or strength of LK attacks which a lot of people seem to)

well it was too mobby at my times.. so i quit it coz it were annoying; i never coult cast fury and so on
 because everytime i saw monsters and there were a low chance to get a good place where no monsters are.

I think all in all I'll be fine for survivability and attacking on the char I'm on when I've practiced a bit. but really having issues with the afk double & I don't think I can do anything about that really. unless i buy another computer to dual client give it a million fly wings and jam something on the button. Which I'm not willing to do.

Some positives so it's not all doom and gloom.

Auto follow seems to work much better these days. I used to get them forgetting to follow after a while and sometimes just refusing but it's working how I'd always thought it should now.
The thing where it forgets to share exp when you die and have to come back to the map seems to have worked itself out too.

From what i experienced, theyve some have changed to demon, the HP uses Assumpt, so have Fw ready incase they dont die. Try for one shots,otheriwse, FW. Teg suggested to use morpheus shawl for the extra 10% SP, but meh, never did try it. Status armors are nice too. Unless you got a GTB/Ele fist, avoid the HW.

It's fine as it is. Find a party to go with. It doesn't even have to be a big party, just a good one. From my experience, smaller parties do better off there. I like this New LH3. You can pretty much go everywhere now as opposed to staying near the center and never going to the far reaches of biolabs.

I'm getting better. four or five kills in a row before I screw up and have to take the walk of shame back in again & I'm up to a whopping 2%. 3% was my highest and then it whittled back down to 0%. I hate this keyboard for RO.

I did one of those I quit things a while back so know very few people who actively play these days & bought a keyboard with no gaps between the F keys so keep hitting the wrong ones. gear wise I'm ok I'm just clumsy.

But it's still a lot quieter in there than it used to be.

Oooh, that's exactly why I like my keyboard. It may not be all special and shit, but the Fkeys are seperated!

Also, it's pretty early in most places where this game is mostly played.

Yeah If I dont make 10% by the end of the day I'm ordering another gaming one. that was awesome.

In other news my sisters cat climbed into my wardrobe earlier somehow managed to close the door behind it and sat and waited patiently till it was nice and quiet and the started clawing at the doors. I seriously just shat a brick. had no idea what was going on.

PS I'm on Tiger-Crane if anyone wants to come laugh at my ineptness. just be aware that I may be distracted by cats pretending to be demons.

Edit: I give up till i can get a new keyboard & get a dark frame card. Too frustrating ending on 4.5% what a day

i was just recently introduced to champ. my second maxed character

gears wise. need to get just ennough to kill asumptio LK wich has 90 k HP i think.

so here are what i think are top gears for there but still room for improvement.

+4 Kaho
+4 DL Sleips
Di Macho man (for the +1 str to get an even number!)
i don't have PCB
swap between GR Diabolus Robe and Dark Frame Armor will explain Diabolus robe soon
I only use Cranial guard and TGB guard ( haven't found a nice priced Toad valk)
I use +4 Devi Diabolus Mant
1 Celeb Ring
1 Sting Diablus Ring


With 1 diabolus ring and GR diabolus robe with diabolus mant, you are sure to kill Asumptio LK. GR roe gives +250 SP with the +100 of the rings. and those two make heal sooooo much better cause you can survive the Spiral Pierce. and the soul break of  LK and sinX even the Sonic Blow does half.

 and just keep Devi Diabolus mant on since does -5% damge taken from neutral. so extra with devi.

and diabolus ring and diabolus robe combo give you +5% atack on all monsters. pretty sweet combo there. i don't use IC i have 145 total. but i still do well. the only thing that does suck is that you never know which monsters have asumptio cuase there is a sprite error ( not sure what to call it) where even if the monsters are asumptio you can't tell if they are if you were no there to see them get the buff.

so TONS of GJ will be use, i ussually just max every asura. sorry to say this but LH3 might not be a good place to start if you have no money to back it up even if you just have the gears.

Gear isn't my issue. my keyboard is. for reference I'm using

+4 kaho
DI AWE
Assasins mask PCB
+4 GR Valk armor (have another valk armor for a dark frame card I've not yet got)
+4 TTH Suiken
+4 valk shields GTB & Toad
+7 dev muffler
+4 DL sleipnirs
2 x supreme brys

I can quite happily kill all the types of monster there as long as i hit the right keys but with the keyboard I'm using that's a space saving one all the keys are small and there's no gaps I keep mis hitting and that's my only problem with survival.

There's quite a handful of people that go to LH3. Maybe its just wrong timing.
As for killing the mob, you'll be better staying on the center part of the map going round and around. Unless you have a party of 2 or more  then you can venture out somewhere else. Yeah mobs are harder, but once you get used to it, it'll certainly feel like the old mob from the old server. You'll get lucky alot of times when youre in the old leech area zone by the stairs when you killed a HW, its almost guaranteed that it will spawn one somewhere nearby means, easy kill. Same goes with sniper though. Although it can only
respawn the same mob for so much but heck, better than nothing.

 Its actually more like a bug, and I wonder if its supposed to be like that or not. Who knows, I dont play anyother private/public server nor stalk the iRo forums.

New keyboard arrived today. Doing much better now. got 10% before getting a bit bored of playing. but played no where near as long as i did when the exp kept going down instead of up so good times. will actually be able to do it now. still have had to up the number of fly wings I carry from the old days but that's no biggie.

ps never try and buy a gaming keyboard on the cheap. the y and z are the wrong way around and Ctrl is now Strg. I think it's foreingese.
