Is there any way to NOT kill myself in mvp pvp map?

im a whitesmith using a DBSS mace... is there a way for me to continue using this weapon without it dealing some of my own damage to myself?

It wasnt doing this yesterday... but now it is. is it because of a buff.... or something o.O

Did you change any of your armors/shields/accessories/garments?

Nope. been wearing the exact same thing. and yeah its making me deal damage to myself

Are you training on a different map than before?  Different skills?  I can't get in game right now, otherwise I'd test it out.

Im completely posotive. at about 2am i was on this exact same map kiling the exact same monsters with the exact same skills. except the Bapho splash flashy thingi wasnt showing up and i wasnt taking any damage. now i come home from school, its about 3:43pm... and im killing myself =/

At PVP it's easy, you just create a party and that's all.

Bapho has that effect of splashing and hitting yourself in pvp, depends on how you attack your target from. Kinda sucks. Not much you can do about it.


i think he means mvp pvp map as the event map.

Nah. its not that... its cause its a pvp map. it happens in regular pvp all the time. this is all just peachy. now if i kill 4 or 5 monsters im ded. and i waste 5 PoE getting in each time =/

Just go to mountain @_@

u dont have to worry about getting killed by a player or really strong monster or to much mob and dont waste 5 poe instead of 2

Mountain barely has any of the revenants though... and itd rather deal with real players then some of the monsters at mountain

IMO, mountain has better spawn of Token dropping monsters and lesser aliciel, alliot , Necromancers and other junk.
PVP swamp is far too over rated. The only thing it has more are MVPs and those pesky event incubii.

Make sure you're in a party. You don't have to be with someone, just make one for yourself so you won't get hit by your own splash dmg.
