As items become scarcer or plentiful in the server prices fluctuate. This also goes for Ad Credits which is the main form of purchasing Kaho's. Therefore Kaho prices will rarely go above Ad prices unless there's a huge shortage of Ad's with a higher demand for Kaho's. There's always using the SQI Arena if you aren't happy with the prices however and would prefer to make it yourself  ;D This goes visa versa as well for how low Kaho prices can get, it all depends on supply/demand.

I believe the OP was referring to the zeny price.

It's more expensive because Ad prices went up.
