how far away do you have to be for xp not to affect an afk party member?

as long as your in the same party with xp turned to share, everyone on the same map gets xp, regardless of theyre place on the map or  they're afkyness ~nyo^^

Well if they are in the same map. What emi said is true. If you want to share exp but there's somone AFK in the same zone (not map) and they are out of share range, It wont work. But if they are in a diffrent zone and out of range it should work.

As long as you're on the same map then you get exp - best exemple is how some people sit by the portal to Yggdrasil tree while the person doing the killing goes all over the map. Same is also true if you're in Thor or at Seals or anywhere, really.
