What does this server do against it?
I usually just give them things I have no use for but they might find useful.
^ This, unless it's obvious they don't want to do for themselves. A few weeks ago there was this little archer in Pront who asked for help so I got on a noob char and went around and healed her in geos for like 2 hours. Gave her some dex stuff (AoA, glove, small dex items, not my IC gear lol) and had a blast. This got Valkyrie Ice (aka Val, my roomie) into making a noob char. Generated hours of fun for us!
About a year or so ago, this kid comes up to EM during WoE asking for 50k. We told him to go to Einbroch, go one field south, and collect drops from there (he was too low for Amatsu or we would have told him to go there instead). Kid complained that he needs 50k for a weapon or he can't fight in Einbroch. I'm thinking to myself, "Donate, brat!" Needless to say, no one gave him money.
Beggars are going to happen in game and they can be annoying but like the archer in my first story, some of them can be fun to play with and/or make valuable guildies later on.
