what happens when someone tries to hack your account? i had a "friend" who gave me a data file to put into my ro folder. when i told her i did it she asked me to log in. i told her it kept saying failed to connect and that i'd leave it for tomorrow. she then proceeded to beg me to do it now and download some application called "teamviewer" so she could "help" me.

can i report this to GMs or something?

i used the software to fully manipulate my laptop in my home country. so when u give her an access she can already view what you been doing in your screen and can manipulate your mouse the whole time. I think you can report this as a valid hacking tools since she didnt tell you whats the purpose of the software.

It's going's to be hard to report to your 'friend', since:
1) anyone can be that 'friend'.
2) you can't prove how that 'friend' gave you that file.
3) you could've edit it.

Not to be bias against you or your 'friend;, but the above issues exists..

edit:

- You could screenshot any file transactions between you and your 'friend' if it's transfered via messengers/email.
- Upload the data file to here so GM (or other experts) can inspect this.
- Delete stuffs that your 'friend' gave you and ,if possible, clean out your RO folder and reinstall RO.
