it reduces ur base def by half,
EX.

my def is
90+150,
equiped with a wep that gives increaes darknes tendency
ur def would be 45+150, i think it would add aspd~

Hmm thats Grimtooths original property of reducing defence. From what I know "Increase darkness tendency" hasnt been employed in it yet. From what I read in iRO forums it was supposed to be like a berserker mode. While attacking you go into Dark mode or something which causes you to lose defence entirely and get a boost on offensive stats for a limited time.
