Mdef question

i heard that when checking mdef you have to only look at the +xx
Is that true? If it is them whats the point of the base mdef?

I'm not really sure what your question is here.  But for mdef;
The base mdef is the first factored into reducing magic damage.  It works much as defense does; 1 mdef = 1% magic reducion.
The soft mdef that you recieve from intelligence points reduces magic like vit does; 1 = 1 damage reduced

Basically im trying to hit 95 mdef on my LK. Now endure gives 10 mdef, i was wondering if it adds up to reach 95.(because it appears on the base mdef and not the +xx)

Endure has always given 10 mdef at level 10. It should show in your stat window when it's on.

He might be reffering to woe which it only recently added 10 Mdef.

Can't you just use GTB and worry about getting 95def instead of mdef? o.o

Because Mdef is not just for use against magic in woe.  In fact you usually don't have to worry about magic at all unless they've stated high intelligence and use high wizard.

Mainly it's for anti freeze from SG and frost joke while wearing GR to survive AD/Asura unlike the GTB+ED/Marc combo.
