Low priority settings in Vista

So far this is the only problem I've had with Vista and Ragnarok. Whenever you load the game it automatically runs at the lowest priority setting. Once you go into the task manager and change that setting to any other setting, it eventually sets itself back to low. Pretty darn gay. Any ideas on why this is happening and any way I can change this?

IIRC it's supposed to be that way to reduce lag, or at least I think that's what BlackHunter said.
