Clothes dying question

Ok,for some reason,when I try and dye my clothes,as soon as I walk out of the door into Prontera,it just disapears,but it's still on whenever I open the equip screen or character select.How come it's not working?Am I missing something?

Download dyefire and install it into your RO folder.
