pretty sure u have to be a sage/prof to make tome, or a specific sqi that applies only to that class
brys/megs/valk helm/kahos(lol) dont matter
(my stalker can only make sherwood along with the universal sqi's that ANY class can make)

you dont need gm though, only sage/prof can make tome, only priest/high priest can make evang, only sin/sinx can make twinfang and so on

You need the be the class to make the SQI weapon.  I tried making a SoM on my Paladin but realized that I could only make an Aegis. o;

yes you need to be the class that can wield the sqi to make it. You also need to pass sqi arena and havent make a weapon sqi with that char before
