Does the discount that's been in effect since last Christmas count for unslotting items?

I wanted to unslot a dark frame out of an armor and put it in something else.

Would it be around $6-something or still $7?

Going to keep the card (of course)
and get rid of the armor (a +4 legion plate...no one wants it, so I'm just going to unslot it to get rid of it)
