The fact that you see GMs posting on the forums, means they're checking the suggestions every so often. Some of them, just don't know what to say and don't have the training to answer to the demanding public. In fact, there are times where I have to advise some of them here and there, that what they're saying isn't very kosher and should rethink their wording when they do.
Just give it time for them to pick up the reigns and become more managerial (Adrift)
Though, to be honest, after Debbie, suggestions were responded to a lot more than they were back in the day. Debbie completely, flat out, ignored my whole "Save the World" idea ;[ And Harken said he didn't want to give ad credit for it ;[
And really, see: website project thing.
The website was in production/works for a while before that suggestion was even put up. Now, just because the player didn't see it being worked on or mentioned to them, she kept bumping her thread every so often until I got fed up with it, and posted what the website would look like so the players would shut up.
Things take a while to work on, especially when it comes down to the nitty gritty of coding. A lot more details need to be worked out before something can be implemented, not just, "Hey this sounds like a good idea, let's put it in!" Pro's & Cons need to be weighed out, and every possible situation to break the suggestion needs to be played out in order to ensure that the suggestion, does not have any negative out comes in the end.
