Old Threads

Can I get some input on why it's so bad to resurrect old threads, why people get so upset at it, and why it's against the rules?

what happens when there was a complaint made about the Server/player 10 months ago??

and some guy happens to post a comment into it that inflames some other guy that was not even related to the original thread?

and the original problem was solved/fixed 9 months ago??

after one month without any post ,people will assume the thread have dead..people free to discuss and post all their opinion during that time..
assuming people have done discuss the thread after a month ,it not relevant anymore to discuss and revive the thread again..if you want to know certain information ,just use search function or open new thread..
