Oh yeah, buying stuff in the item shop can be just a wee bit confusing because your ad credits are tied to your forum account, yet the items will actually go to an in-game account. Thus you'd have to already be logged into a forum account, and you'd also have to log into one of your in-game accounts to receive the items. And then yeah, it's going to be pretty weird if you happen to be logged into the wrong in-game account, so just make sure you check all your accounts.
I usually have this problem when I use ads to buy things:
-I have my own computer, so I have Firefox save my username/password for the forums so I can log in without trouble.
-This is all fine and good for getting into my forum account, but then on those odd occasions when I buy things with ads I sometimes forget to change the password and so then it locks me out for 3 minutes
It's also possible to just put the wrong account. So pay careful attention to which account you use, as otherwise it will be a pain to have to look through all your accounts later!
