I remember the other day I was bored and mobbing peco peco because once one is attacking you they all follow you.  And I was wondering if I mob and then relog so they're just there and someone comes up and attacks one making the entire mob kill them does that count? /hmm

I don't believe that counts as mpk, since you didn't bring the monsters to the player to switch target at that person.
In your case, you relog and the player hit that single monster and the others follow to attack and kill them is not your fault.

Definitely not.  If a nub decides to do that, it's their own fault - although if it's a nub, it's probably a good thing for them.  Learning experience and all.

But it certainly isn't your fault in that case.  Plus, it's a lot of fun making mobs and leaving them around - aggressive or non-aggressive.

MPK I believe is where you actually bring a mob to a person (or vice-versa) with the intent of killing them.  Is there even a rule against making random aggro mobs, as long as you don't purposely kill anyone with them?  Well certainly if I make one and leave it then there's no way for anyone to prove I made it anyways, but could I get in trouble for making such mobs  even if it's  not with the intention of killing anyone (except possibly myself  :D)?

well if u died mobbing then its not ur fault...
but purposely making a mob and leaving it there can be taken as intent to kill other players who may walk by
again if u REPEATEDLY lure a mob of assist monsters to noobs then it technically is an intent on killing them tho i dun think the same person wud do it twice
but diff noobs might so i think its reportable

well I could see it if you threw it at a person with an AoE or bapho mace, like how in niff a few times an LK used to take his whole mob and run straight through me when I was attacking, which automatically made them attack me and kill me, this was a while back , I'd survive a mob like that now.
