its not about bugs or anythingy like that :3
anyways ive been searching this for a while and i cant seem to find anythingy about it so this would be the place to ask i supose^^
how can i make my client use the iro skill names?^^ there are lots of skills that have way better names in my opinion like that
tryed just changeing the description but that didnt change the skillname itself
this wouldnt give ppls more of an advantage than the custom auras do,again its only for my client to see them like this, so could anyone tell me if its posible and if so how to do it ~nyo^^

Erm, open your adata with GRF Builder,
search in the data folder and then... there must be something called skillrestable, skillnametable or something like it.

Change those names.

it only changed the description .-. like inside the boxy, i need my char to say the new names :3
of course i could have done somethingy wrong if u know how to get my char to say the skill names iwant um..how .-. ~nyo^^

Pokket is right, you need to change the skillnametable.txt from the adata.grf file.

Indeed, because after you download it, you still have to change the names of the skills.

If you're too lazy to read the following tutorial, skip through to the bottom for a shortcut to iRO skillnames

To change the names, you must first open the file(skillnametable.txt) with notepad. Once open, you will see words and other symbols. You will have to change the text next to the corresponding skill name's code to change the name itself.

Let's do an example. We're gonna change an Assassin Cross' Soul Breaker into something else.



Look at the highlighted text.
ASC_BREAKER#Soul_Breaker#

The words ASC_Breaker embody the code for the skill "Soul Breaker/Soul Destroyer". You don't change that.

What we ARE gonna change is the text that says Soul_Breaker.

Soul Breaker sounds boring. Let's turn into something more awesome like...Omega Ray!


First, we'll erase the words Soul_Breaker(careful not to erase the #s!) then we'll type in the words Omega_Ray(Spaces in-between words must be shown with an underscore_) as so...



Now all you gotta do is close the file window(make sure to save first) and put it into your data folder.

If you did everything correctly, it should look something like this...
