Dear GMs/players who may be able to help,
*I have an 'RO downloading problem', so I am asking please that kind GMs/players - if they can - help me refix this situation that I'm in and finally be on my way to actually playing AnthemRO once again. Thank you.* My story:
My in-game character's name is "
G. Holy Kaiser" the high priest, and I played with this char with many help from
friends and
guild (not guilds). So, one day I suddenly realised that I had so many "junk icons" in my RO folder that wanted to delete them - so, I did go and delete, but I only deleted
one icon. And then this message appears saying that
do I want to delete everything in relevance to this item that I am about to delete and if I do want to delete it then it will be deleted and not go into the "Recycle Bin" or something along those lines. I went to click "
No" but my
laser-mouse (not ball-mouse) moved to the "
Yes" button and then I clicked it ....
it was an accident!.
And now, I have ABSOLUTELY NO FILE or data in relevance to AnthemRO ..... which basically mean that my computer does not know anything about "AnthemRO", "Sakray" .... nothing!
What I have done in attempt to fix this problem:
I went to this forum and searched
ALL topics that contained the word "
problem" because so then I would know what people had what problem and what they'd do to fix their problem(s). Simple ..... but it wasn't simple as well. I tried to find peolpe with problems similar to mine and did what they had done as they had so posted in their topic. "Download this", "Go here", "Don't click start" ..... honestly,
I have tried at least 4 different theories of what 'veteran members' had told them to do. And in that conclusion it didn't work for me. I am really upset - that their theories didn't work for me - but not enough to go and about and go sleep it off .....
*I realise that I may be stressing myself about trying to give as much information on my downloading problem, but I also realise that if people know what exactly I did, then maybe kind GMs/players may be able to help fix my problem ....*
Also:
In my search for people who had the same problem as I, I came across one little problem with peoples' posts ... though I'm not saying that my opnion is meant to insult or tell them to change their way of posting but rather that I thought - if they wanted to - they could make their responses more specific in terms of directions. For instance, one person who took his/her time to help another person (like me), and upon helping s/he said "Go to this link and download" and that was all s/he posted

that tip was useful, it did not really helped much because s/he said "and download" .... download what ?
That web s/he had posted had a list of sources that enables users to download sakrays/ragnarok ... and in that, it would be more helpful that s/he had said which 1 of those links
SPECIFICALLY should the distressed download because then we'd need not have to know that some of them are bogus and some of them don't work.
But, ultimately, this is my opinion and is meant to be read as a sign of my thoughts on things and not meant to insult.
So, I am asking kind players of this forum, if anyone can please
directly step-by-step teach me what and how to download
IN ORDER to actually play AnthemRO and talk with my great guild/friends .... I am grateful. I am 17, but I talk like I'm not, and I may get lost in instructions easily
BUT if you can help me with my situation then
I have nothing to offer but my undying gratitude and appreciation for your help. My lesson learned is to never mess with files when it includes something about 'deleting'.
