job change at lvl 50

this has been bothering me for a long time...
i know it's good to job change at lvl 50 beceause you'll have more skill poitns to use, but..people telling me you'll get extra bonus stats when being changed at job lvl 50...
but i've checked on ratemyserver.net at the bonus stats from job lvl, and as an example: i made a wizard and changed at job 50..its job lvl 37 right now, and on the table it says you'll have +5dex..and yes i got +5dex...so there isnt any extra bonus job stats, it would be the same as i job changed on lvl 40? or do i get those when being job 50 with wizard? i don't get it...

Do you mean you made a mage and changed him into a wizard? If there were any job stat bonuses (which I really don't think there are) from the 1st job (say mage) they don't carry over to your next job (say wizard).

They are part of the + thing.

Example 99 + 1 str

On the iRO site it tells you how much of each stat you get for each job level you are (I don't think they are correct though)

hmm they are correct at ratemyserver.net
but ok thats what i wanted to know, when being changed from magician to wizard there will be no stat points transfered...
some people telling me that tho, but now i know for sure. tnx :)

No bonus stat points (if there are any) would be transferred. Say you had 30 INT when you where a mage you will still have 30 INT when you change into a wizard.

From what I understand, some private servers (likely ones that use eAthena instead of Aegis coding) do have this. ARO does not, however. Once you switch to the final class, all previous stat bonuses from the previous class disappear. The only benefit to getting job 50 is the extra skill points.

The other benefit is that if you want to sell your character, they'll be worth more. And usually, people only take job changes at 50 if they want to buy a char.

Not entirely sure about the bonus stats, but you do indeed get extra skill points, so it's always good to hit 50.
It's a pain, but an extra two-three hours isn't so bad if you ask me.

Though I personally would go Job 50 with all classes, some classes can get away with less than Job 50

Lowest I know is archer with 41, Some chars like mage and acos would benefit theit Job 2's with 50 Job

and I think Swordy to Knight would be better off with Job 50 too :p
