What happens when you tax and leech?

since taxing takes exp from the user. kind of like a leech. does the exp total get divided into 3?

Maximum guild tax is 50%. When you leech one person, the exp will get divided by half and to you will be only half of the half of what should get on even share.
For example, the exp is 1000. You have 50% tax while leeching one person. So you will only get the quarter of 1000 which is 250.

Works like so.

Equal share to each person in the share exp party (50% each for 2 people in the party 33% for 3 etc.)

The exp that the person on Guild Exp is shared between the character exp and the guild exp meter.

Summary
2 person party - 25% to guild per person in guild
3 person party - 15.5% to guild per person in guild
4 person party - 12.5% to guild per person in guild

Etc.
