Movement with the keyboard...
« on: March 15, 2008, 05:00:36 am »
Sure it's nice to point and click where you want to go. However, what if your in a PVP zone and you need to move while casting, shooting, etc.... Kind of awkward.

Is there a way to do this through the original client that I don't know about?

Movement no, but we do have battle mode which makes swapping between the F12 bars easier.

It's impossible to move with a keyboard. RO uses mouse based interface, so you'd need to code in a completely new movement and interface system in order for that to work. For this to work we'd quite probably need access to the source code of the game. Which we don't have.

What about that mouse freedom program. That runs two clients. Does it work in a way where you switch back and forth with mouse function or is a keyboard involved.

If I were to code a program that overlays the original program, could I give the source to your guys for approval?

I have seen someone code RO, to let their Nintendo DS act as the mouse,  but, no keyboard I've seen :(

I suddenly need to know how someone made their DS act as the mouse.  And why.
