Back from the Dead! AnimaRO VET

Greetings everyone...

  Just wanted to send out my love to all those that have been around since the days of AnimaRO...  Its been a long long long time since those days of old... When transcending wasn't even around.   When u could MVP on giant beetles all day long....  Ah those were the days.     I Remember one special day that Debbie spawned a swarm of devilruchis everywhere in pront...   The entire town was just littered with them.  Watching the masses of people dying and not to mention every single merchant death cracked me up. 

Anyways.. After AnimaRO had issues (i still blame Harken) the merge to AnthemRO kinda put things off for me and it was a long time till i made my way over to AnthemRO.  Sooo many friends and loved ones were gone and out of touch... It was a sad thing for me, as I spend sooo much time getting to know people.  But not all was sadness and woe... (pun intended)  Having re-aquanted myself with some old friends I found a place to call home again with the Eternal Moon guild.  More of a family then anything.   Friends may come and go, but a good guild can be forever. 

 After a short time on AnthemRO (maybe less then a year) some real life stuff caused me to leave game for some time...   And having felt that my return would not be anticipated, Most of my equipment was loaned or donated...   (Shame on me I know)  And come to find out... AnthemRO is no more  as well..  T_T   

 Not wasting to go through the same thing all over again, I took the move to some other games ....  Did some GM work on a Wow private server called TruWOW...  Did some Beta testing for another game called Dead Frontier and another called Firefall.    But Always in the back of my mind have been the good times spent on the world of Midgard.   One day i was going thru my Steam games looking for a new project to work on... when Bam, i see that RO2 has been released.   Now i know what some of you are thinking... And i was indeed one of people that got in on the initial testing from gravity's RO2...  But let me tell you, that was ages ago... and that shit sucked sooo bad i lost all hope for RO.  I didn't like it one bit... and after some time and much disappointment (as a developer myself I could just see the lack of potential) I said screw it and didn't bother with it or following the news.  So its no wonder that i completely missed out on the fact that the RO2 project was scrapped and that it was re engineered using a much better game engine... I had totally missed out on the beta and full release  ON STEAM??? WTF!  SO i clicked the Play now button and away I went... creating what I knew best. (warrior FTW)
 Granted This new RO2:lots still has some issues, and really jumps away from the social greatness that made Ro so special...  I see a lot of potential for the growth.  And if they do an overhaul on the crappy chat methods they employ...
 So I've been playing RO2:LotS for the last month, just Swimming in nostalgia!!!  And we all know that u cant surround yourself in so much nostalgia that you didn't just give in and just HAVE to visit!
 So here I am... staring at the installer as it loads the game onto my lap top... Just minuets away now from logging in.  (God i hope i remember my log in info...) So for anyone here that's been around from the days of Anima....   And if you remember me....  (Character names listed below)  And especially if you know/have of wish to replace any of my items....   I should be logging in shortly.   Or drop me a message here in this thread and ill be checking it from time to time.     Ill be spending most of my time lvling characters on RO2...  Odin server but should be helping out Eternal Moon during WoE (with or without gear!!!)

Quite agree with you. Lime Odyssey is what I have in mind as a sucessor.

...without the abdata file? when you uninstall, the abdata file is deleted. and when you reinstall, the abdata file is installed. and it needs to be there in order to play. that's mostly where anesispatch puts stuff.

it's just basic stuff, but it's good to make sure you were doing it right, so at least a few causes of the errors can be ruled out.

Thank for the welcome back... and aye, Ive gone over soo many threads about this and tried many many things.
The abdeta file is there in the folder and ive even used the provided abdeta and server files provided on the Download page...  Also run both kro and renewal patches as well and anesis patch... Game does not auto run after anesis patch and when clicking play now anesis exe just stops woring and closes.
