Benefits of Curse status on Monsters?

So, I picked up a Wraith Dead card which gives Curse status by 20% on physical attacks. I mainly PVM so I was assuming it would help me there because Curse can be countered very easily in PVP/WoE. I decided to mainly use it on my WS to help me control mobs better.

What effect does it have when it is casted on monsters besides the extreme slowdown? Does it lower their attack and luck like on other players/yourself as well?

I was thinking about doing a test to see while using my HP with Assumptio as well as cursing to see if it lowers the damage significantly while wearing +8 Devi Muff and +8 Tirfing Guard so I can mob bigger. It's a shame that the HP card is in an armor and not something else.

thats what it basically does, dunno anything else about it with players and their gears

Yeah, the reduction of ATK by 25% is what I was wondering about. Like it would reduce the damage the cursed monsters do to you so you don't take as much.
