Opinions on Wolfheidens

How often does the effect happen, are there any downsides to the effect other than more magical damage, and is it worth purchasing it (plus a deviling card) for mobbing at say, S***ington? I've already got a Deviling Muffler, so I dunno if it's worth getting a Wolfheiden just yet. Advice?

Wolfheiden is meh. It depends how you kill there. If you run LoSD with full int and reflect you can pull it off quite nicely. But Melee DPS you might find it hard to cast skills when you need it because the proc stops you sometimes.

I dunno what LoSD and DPS means (D= Doppel and S=Samurai?) but you make it sound like the garment certainly isn't needed especially if it can interrupt me from spamming skills. Thanks for your input.

LoSD = skill that is on mjol
DPS = Damage Per Second.

wolfheidens description is also inaccurate all it does is proc that skill that gives you 20 def. Stone skin or something like that.

Indeed, and that defense is probably still subject to be lowered by a large mob.

They used to be excellent garments on Aegis as they actually did give you 20% resist to physical damage rather than +20 def. Until this bug is fixed they will remain a poor choice of garment.
