Ragnarok_RE has changed

...again. :/ And even though I'm fully patched, it'd still be nice to know how to go about getting the new RE patcher.

I had this problem earlier and ran Init.exe. Now my Ragnarok_RE brings up the kRO website.
I'm using the one from http://providence.project-dissonance.com/tools/patcher/Ragnarok_RE.exe

I didn't have it before, but now I do. And I tried that as well. :/ Didn't do anything for me. And then I tried replacing it with that patcher, and still got the same thing and message.

well, when the dialog box pops up after Ragnarok_RE is fully patched, simply click NO.

Here you guys go. The zip file is for people that get a blank patcher when they run Ragnarok_RE. The second one is just a drop-in replacement for the executable. If you installed fresh from the full installer, you'll probably need the zip file; otherwise, just replace the exe in your RO folder with the one below. Let me know if you run into any problems.

EDIT: Before I forget, here's some troubleshooting stuff:

• If you get an error about a C++ runtime or something like that, it's because there's something wrong with the patcher's manifest file (Google it if you want to know more). In this case, you would run init.exe. That's all Init.exe is for: applying an updated manifest file. The patchers above both have the updated manifests embedded in them, so you won't have to worry too much about that.
• If you get a grey box even after replacing Ragnarok_RE.exe, you're missing some files in your PatchClient folder. In that case, just download the zip file above and you should be set.
• If you get a message with a bunch of question marks and some number (20%? I don't remember), it's saying that more than so-and-so percent of the GRF file is unnecessary data. I think of the GRF like a room that accumulates trash over time. In this case, it's asking you if you want to clean it up a bit. It's really up to you, but I hit yes whenever this pops up. It saved me more than 100mb in just one run.
• If you run the game client (not the patcher) and it says "Ragnarok_RE.exe is changed. Press ok to restart", do not hit ok. Some updated Gravity patcher is going to replace your edited one and it'll probably just open the kRO website instead of patching your game files. If you happen to hit ok, just redownload the zip from above and drop a line on the forums. I'll try my best to keep these links updated with the latest patchers.

Gravity has been updating the patcher quite a few time the past few weeks. You might wanna rename yours to make sure it won't get overwritten.

That's why I don't remove the RE when I download it. I just copy the .zip and place the copy in my folder.
