Might be the encoding of the music file, but I don't think RO is that complicated.

Anyway I could change the background music for RO?
I'd love to replace it with some Final Fantasy Tactics music.

I know I could just mute it and all, and that's what I do. <3
But, is it possible?

i change my bgms by changing the like song, just replace the number, although i don't think it works if the file is too big, works alot though

3MB higher RO music works but customized is not ;< :p

Might have something to do with the tags, but I'm not so sure.
Doesn't seem to be anything related to file size or bitrate.

I've been messing around with an MP3 I replaced with the title and editing the tags to see if changing one aspect will cause it to stop playing but nothing so far.

I only thing I can recommend trying is changing the tags so that the Track # in corresponds to the title. (01 would be tagged as Track # 1)

I have 6-12MB sized songs that work just fine, I just reformat them with dBpowerAMP Music Converter. Sometimes the songs won't play the first time you get on a map, which un-checking and re-checking the BGM box in sound options will fix that for me.
