Title: Can't get in to kafra.

I just installed the game after a long absence playing it. I've patched it up and can play the game fine, apart from not being able to get into kafra, or being able to sit because apparently I have not gained enough novice skills. I'm a level 96 sinx... so i'm guessing this is an error of some kind?

err check your skills window(Alt+S) and level basic skills.After switch to ea, all skills got reset.

I see. I tried looking at that earlier but the skill tree confuses the hell out of me. Any tips on how to use it?

Edit > I can see all the skills I used to have, but I can't do anything with them and the Apply and Reset buttons are innactive

Edit > Figured it out, didn't see the tabs on the left. Thanks for your help ^ ^

Ya it can be a little intimidating at first.
-Well basically there are some new buttons like "Apply" & "Reset". Once you allocate some points to skills, you have to click "Apply" then click on "Ok" to use the points. Till then it won't let you go lower in the hierarchy of the skill tree.
-To check skill descriptions use the "View skill info" checkbox on top. Right clicking doesn't work now.
-There are 2 buttons on top. The left one shows the whole skill tree available for your char. Hovering on a skill will also highlight in red the skills which are prerequisites for that particular skill. So hovering on Adrenaline rush, for example, will highlight Hammerfall. The right one of course closes the window!
-The skills are now divided into convenient tabs jobwise. So 1st job skills are separated from 2nd job skills.
Thats it! It's much better than what we had previously.
Cool tip: Reading long skill descriptions can be a problem sometimes, especially for skills which are always down below in the window. You can also right click on the skill icon in your hotkey bar to read description.

Oh wow, that is much better than what it was before! Thanks for clearing that all up for me, I did think thats what the highlighted boxes meant but now I know for sure /no1

You can also click on the minimize button on the skill window and it'll revert back to the original style that you might be more used to.  It'll still have the Apply and Reset buttons, though.
